Error Documentation - Image Upload and Processing

IKOSA supports a broad range of image file formats. In order to have your images available within IKOSA, you have to upload them before they get processed internally so that they are ready for viewing, analysis, etc. However, during this process errors may occur due to failed uploads or when processing of images fails.
Please note: Also if the upload of an image itself is successful, processing the image may fail.
Images for which the upload failed or successfully uploaded images for which processing failed are listed on the Data Storage Dashboard in the Images section under the Failed tab. On hovering the corresponding warning icon ( for failed upload; for failed processing), more information regarding the error is shown, a click on the icon leads to this page and the corresponding error code.

Error Codes for Status “processingFailed”
Error Code | Error Message | Solution |

ERR_0600 | Internal application error. | Processing failed due to an unspecific error. Please retry and/or get in touch with us at support@kmlvision.com and provide information regarding your image file. |
ERR_4013 | Medium processing failed, timeout. | Please try to upload the file again. If the error persists, get in touch with us at support@kmlvision.com and provide information regarding your image file. |
ERR_4112 | Could not identify any supported image format. | Please check our supported image file formats. Please make sure that you use a supported color-/bit-depth in your images, e.g. 32-bit images are not supported at the moment. |
ERR_4113 | Could not uniquely identify a supported image format, found {} | Please check our supported image file formats. |
ERR_4114 | Unsupported dimension: {} | Upload images with supported dimensions only by using the correct section in the Select Images step of the Image Upload wizard. Please check our supported image file formats. |
ERR_4115 | No dimensions were specified for multi-dimensional image. | If you want to upload a multi-dimensional image, please use the correct section in the Select Images step of the Image Upload wizard (e.g. Multichannel Images or Time Series Images). |
ERR_4116 | Could not identify multi-dimensional image for given dimensions: {} | If you want to upload images via the multi-dimensional sections in the Select Images step of the Image Upload wizard (e.g. Multichannel Images or Time Series Images), please make sure that your image files have the correct format. |
ERR_4117 | Only one dimension is supported for this file format, received: {} | Please check our supported image file formats. |
ERR_4118 | Multi-channel images require single channel color models. | Please provide multichannel images that have a single grey value for each channel and pixel of the image. E.g. RGB values for each channel are currently not supported. |
ERR_4138 | Image format is not supported: {} e.g. Image format is not supported: OME-TIFFs with external metadata are not supported yet. | Please check our supported image file formats. |
