Configure your system to import CSV files into Microsoft Excel without friction.

If your MS Windows region settings are not set to an English locale, you need to take care of setting the correct decimal and thousands delimiters during the CSV import into Excel.

You can check your regional settings in Windows 10 by typing the word “Region” into the search field in the task bar.

Then, check in the region settings the “Regional format” and take a look at the Regional format data below. It contains examples for date, decimal formats, etc.

Important: If you change the regional format, make sure that you restart your applications, e.g. MS Excel to respect the new settings.
