Please note: This guide assumes your regional format settings of Windows being set to English (United Kingdom).

In order to obtain the data in the desired format, you have to import your CSV file into Excel. To do this you have to perform the following steps:

External Data Import

  1. Open a blank Excel workbook

  2. Click the "Data" field in the upper menu

  3. Select the option "New Query "Get External Data > From File > From CSVText"

    Choose the CSV file you want to import and click import

    Preview your data in the window that opened"Import"

  5. In step 1 of the dialog choose option "Delimited" for the original data type, and check the box "My data has headers.", then click on "Next"

  6. Choose "Comma" as the delimiter type in Step 2

  7. Click on the "LoadFinish" button and , then "OK" to insert the data into the workbook

  8. Check that your decimal data has been imported correctly
