📑 What is the difference between CSV and XLS file formats?

CSV format is short for the Comma Separated Values format. This is a plain text format used in order to exchange data between different applications. CSV files use a delimiter, e.g. a comma sign, to separate data values. CSV data can be easily viewed with a text editor program like Notepad.

If you open a CSV file in Excel directly, the data will not appear in a usable format. The values will be separated by commas and will not be properly distributed across the columns of your Excel sheet.

📑 Downloading the results of your analysis

When your analysis job in IKOSA is completed, this will be indicated in the “Finished Jobs” tab in the “Analysis Jobs” section. By clicking on the “Download” button at the bottom right corner, you can download the output of your results in a CSV file format.

Upon downloading the data, you will get an email notification with your results. This might take up to several minutes. Click on the “Download results” button or on the download link in the email notification to save your results locally.
